1st time camping at Moran State Park on Orcas Island - June 13, 2009

We took Kaler out camping for the 1st time. We weren't sure it would be a total
disaster or what. We brought the pack & play along and put it inside the tent.
Hoping that he would sleep in it but he preferred to sleep between us.
He was quite fussy the evening that was because he didn't have a nap during the day. He didn't want to go to bed so Guy and I had to pretend to close our eyes and not talking with him. Actually we were really tired too. Finally he stopped jabbering and went to bed. He moved around every where inside the tent, from between us, down to our feet and back up to the side of the pack & play.
It was quite chilly in the morning. All in all, the camping went well. Everyone just didn't have enough sleep.

After we packed up the tent, we went down the road not too far from camping site to rent a row boat. Kaler was a little scare at first but not too long he started to play with the paddle and one accidently went into the water. Luckily mommy was able to grab it before it went too far.
